Visual Confetti · Random Word Association · Negative Ideation · NABC

Four ideation methods used to generate and stress-test the core service concept. Visual confetti explored sensory and emotional qualities. Random word association produced the BRIDGE metaphor. Negative ideation reversed failure modes into service features. NABC framed the business case.

Method 1
Visual Confetti — familiar noise, trusted faces
Method 2
BRIDGE — invisible routing logic, no knowledge needed
Method 3
Negative Ideation → NABC business case

Key insights from ideation methods

Visual Confetti: Generated qualities including familiar noise, trusted faces, peer-to-peer feel, human navigator, no bureaucracy — all of which shaped the WhatsApp-first, no-login design principle.

BRIDGE metaphor: Connects two worlds, works invisibly, no engineering knowledge needed, landmark everyone recognises → translated into: meet users on their platform, temporary access token, invisible routing logic.

Negative Ideation reversal: BAD (office hours only, complex UI, high setup, one big plan) → REVERSED to BRILLIANT (24hr async support, simple interface, easy onboarding, variety of flexible plans). NABC: Need = fast low-friction guidance, Approach = zero-login multilingual chatbot, Benefits = removes authentication barrier + reduces confusion, Competition = current options assume login/prior system knowledge.
